FREIGHT COORDINATOR



Northwards Ltd, a leading provider of logistics solutions in the North of Scotland is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team at our Aberdeen Transport Office.

This full-time position involves:

  • Data input in to the company systems
  • Updating Company spreadsheets
  • Dealing with customers
  • Liaising between different depots within the company
  • Processing bookings into system
  • Dealing with any transport issues
  • Pricing

Ideal candidates will

  • Be ambitious and hardworking
  • Be well organised and demonstrate the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Have a good telephone manner
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred but not essential

  • Experience in transport/ shipping/ logistics
  • Transport planning

This is an interesting and varied role, which provides great experience to anyone interested in furthering their skills in an office-based position.

Hours:  0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday

Saturday working on a rota basis and on call rota
