NORTHWARDS RECEIVES MULTIPLE AWARDS
Northwards have had a successful weekend at the United Pallet Network (UPN) transport awards, where they received three awards for recognition of their contribution to the pallet network. The awards included Rural Haulier of the Year, Scottish & Irish Haulier of the Year and another Gold Award for the second year in a row for service excellence over the past year.
These awards highlight the hard work of all the staff at Northwards and the continuing progress in maintaining a high level of services to all our customers year on year.
Neil Leslie, Commercial Director of Northwards and Murray Prentice, Managing Director attended the awards down in Nottingham and were very pleased to accept the awards.
“We are very pleased to have been recognised for our hard work over the last year with not just one but three awards at this years UPN awards ceremony.” Said Neil Leslie on Monday. “The continued development of new technology available through the network enables customers to track and monitor the progress of their delivery with live signature captures at point of delivery throughout the network. We handle around 100 pallets a night, trunking from the UPN hub in Lichfield and is probably a part of our business that folk in the isles don’t realise we do. It provides great transport links for the isles throughout the UK and beyond.”
